Star Talent Productions is a dance competition company based in High Point, North Carolina, running regional competitions for competitive dance studios, with a 2027 tour of 16 regional events in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee, followed by Star Talent Finals at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center in June. Dancers compete at three levels set by their ability, skill set and weekly studio training: Excel (beginner), Extreme (intermediate) and Elite (advanced). Awards are given to solo and group routines, with overall recognition, a studio trophy for the top-scoring group routine in each overall age division, and Top Category Awards. Each regional has a judging panel of experienced adjudicators, teachers, dancers and industry professionals, and performance photos and video are published in the Dakiki Dance Competition app, typically within two to five business days. Studios register through DanceCompGenie, with registration closing 30 days before each event.
